100 thoughts on “Will public hearings change the nature of the impeachment inquiry?”

  1. They plan to push this farce in the House all the way up and into the 2020 election, WITHOUT going to the Senate. Election meddling!

  2. Clinton administration recieved $145 Mill on the Uranium Sell..those 5 who are testifying on Ukranian crap…Stand to be millionaires …go figure..

  3. Why not put all the dems under criminal investigation and defy all subpeaonas by order of the president, on grounds that he has a responsibility to the country, and he can't govern when harassed for ever, till next elections.
Trump can say that he permits the public to vote him out of office in november 2020. But until then, he needs to put his focus on serving the public, and he also has rights to campaign for next elections and the public deserves to know what he has to offer should they want him for another 4 years.

  4. Not a big story! The WB is nothing since the transcript is public. Charge the WB and Charge the witnesses that oppose the transcript. They were under oath, right? (then again see Clinton and Clapper lying under oath left and right.)

  5. No quid pro quo?
    The Transcript:
"There's a lot of talk about Biden's son, that Biden stopped the prosecution and a lot of people want to find out about that so whatever you can do with the Attorney General would be great. Biden went around bragging that he stopped the prosecution so if you can look into it… It sounds horrible to me." – Donald Trump to Volodymr Zelensky

    The Law:
the Federal Election Campaign Act (FECA, Pub.L. 92–225, 86 Stat. 3, enacted February 7, 1972, 52 U.S.C. §30121. Contributions and donations by foreign nationals

    (B) a contribution or donation to a committee of a political party; or

    (C) an expenditure, independent expenditure, or disbursement for an electioneering communication (within the meaning of section 30104(f)(3) of this title); or

(* Note, there is no mention of quid pro quo. *)

Ellen Weintraub head of the Federal Election Commission:
“Let me make something 100% clear to the American public and anyone running for public office. It is illegal for any person to solicit, accept, or receive anything of value from a foreign national in connection with a U.S. election”.

  6. Where does AOC get off using the word "Y'all" in a tweet? Is that pampered rich urbanite trying to pass herself off as folksy using a Southern bubba word like that?

  7. Is Lev Parnas anti Trump? If Lev Parnas is a never Trumper then why did he donate $450.000 to Trump's campaign? And why would Lev work with Giuliani? This is really confusing. Where did Lev get all the money?

  8. Deep State Criminal Bill Gates got his start in business ILLEGALLY and had continued to work for the global cabal.

  11. "Ukraine didn't know about the aid being withheld."
So why is it that President Zelinski cancelled a CNN interview with Fareed Zakaria until Whistleblower story broke?
Zelinski had planned to announce the Burisma and 2016 election Interference investigations in order to receive the $250M.
They definitely felt that the aid was going to be released after that announcement.

they got way ahead of themselves and there is no turning back
who votes for these loons? holy cow

  14. For Republicans the situation is like stepping into quicksand. The more they try to get out, the more they dig themselves deeper into it.

  15. At this point, Donald Trump has admitted to all the facts, released the official WH summary, the House's witnesses (other than the whistleblower) have all corroborated Trump's quid pro quo transaction with President Zelensky under oath, and there is no factual dispute. The whistleblower's identity and testimony are cumulative and unnecessary. The only question left is whether 19 more Republican Senators are going to put their country before their cult leader Trump.

  16. “Gordon Sondland emphasized the importance that Ukraine deliver the investigations into the 2016 election, the Bidens, and Burisma, a Ukrainian energy company."
    — Lt. Colonel Alexander Vindman’s prepared testimony, October 29, 2019

  17. A Republican congressman confirmed Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman told impeachment investigators that at least two portions of the July phone call between President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky were omitted from the summary of the conversation released by the White House. “Yeah, he testified that in two occasions the ellipses, the dot-dot-dot, should have been some words,” Rep. Scott Perry (R-Pa.) told NPR.

  18. The U.S. has provided about $1.5 billion in military support to Kiev between 2014 and this past June, according to the Congressional Research Service. And Trump’s temporary cut off of the aid represented a significant setback for the country.

The Trump administration initially told Congress it was releasing the aid to Ukraine on February 28, 2019. It repeated that assertion to Congress again on May 23, 2019 but failed to explain to lawmakers — both publicly and to the lawmakers who approved the aid — exactly why the funds were withheld. Even Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell couldn’t get a straight answer from Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and Defense Secretary Mark Esper over the summer on why the aid hadn’t been dispersed yet.

On July 25, 2019, there was a call between Trump and Ukraine’s new president, Volodymyr Zelenskiy. According to a memorandum of the call released by the White House, Zelenskiy asked to buy American-made Javelin anti-tank weapons, and Trump asked Zelenskiy to help him work with U.S. officials to investigate political rivals.

But then on September 11, the Trump administration suddenly disbursed the money.

  19. President Trump: “I would like you to do us a favor though because our country has been through a lot and Ukraine knows a lot about it. I would like you to find out what happened with this whole situation with Ukraine… I would like to have the Attorney General call you or your people and I would like you to get to the bottom of it. … Whatever you can do, it’s very important that you do it if that’s possible. … There’s a lot of talk about Biden’s son, that Biden stopped the prosecution and a lot of people want to find out about that so whatever you can do with the Attorney General would be great… It sounds horrible to me.”

President Zelensky: “The next prosecutor general will be 100% my person… He or she will look into the situation, specifically to the company that you mentioned in this issue.”

  20. John Eisenberg (Deputy Assistant to the President, National Security Council Legal Advisor, and Deputy Counsel to the President), ordered a transcript of a Trump call with Ukraine's President Zelensky be moved to a highly classified server and played a role in the Justice Department's early handling of the Trump–Ukraine scandal.

The whistleblower initially submitted concerns anonymously to Courtney Elwood, general counsel of the Central Intelligence Agency. Elwood then contacted Justice Department officials and Eisenberg. Eisenberg was notified by both Fiona Hill and Alexander Vindman that they were concerned about inappropriate comments to Ukrainian officials by European Union Ambassador Gordon Sondland and President Donald Trump.

  21. It is widely known that Trump is still in his 2017 Impeachment case in the US District Court of the District of Columbia for his many violations of the US Constitutional Laws of foreign and domestic emoluments in Article 1. It would not be a surprise that it would come up again, when there is expected action in early December. Many people will be talking about them and the many other Trump cases that he has lost since 2017.

  22. A coup is NOT just what happened in 2016 but it is whats been happening the entire time and is still happening today. This entire thing has been a made up scam and fraud to seize power & its likely been that way with every other Republican that the crooked democRATS have impeached ( every single R pres since eizenhower has been impeached by the democRATS)

  23. Fake news, Trump is a crook and a bully! 😊 Trump made the illegal call with the Ukrainian President, he already admitted to that! Trump violated his oath as POTUS by making the call and requesting dirt on his political opponent, the harmful part is he held up military aid and he contacted a foreign entity! You can't call a foreign country and ask them to investigate a fellow American! He violated the US Constitution by asking for the information and holding up military aid, it's as simple as that! 😊

  24. "I saw a crow building a nest, I was watching him very carefully, I was kind of stalking him and he was aware of it. And you know what they do when they become aware of someone stalking them when they build a nest, which is a very vulnerable place to be? They build a decoy nest. It's just for you." – Tom Waits

  25. The American people are not stupid, everyone knows what’s going on . The Democrats are trying to impeach our President, the one that the majority of Americans voted for. So they think by calling us names and throwing tantrums will help them it won’t.

  26. I think its a criminal way of draining this country of more funds. For the very people involved. All these lying criminal trials are just one more way of putting us all deeper in debt.Nothing changes no matter who you put in they all just change the game. And ride the highs of the battles. While Americans pay the prices of their corrupt evil games. They are the Kings and Queens of this chess game every four years. And in the end they always win.And we all pay.

  27. Impeachment on what ground? We the American people demand the truth and transparency. Every US citizen including the US president deserves equal protection under the law.

  28. If Democrats like Nancy Pelosi and Adam Schiff are unable to manage the perpetual human waste and homelessness crises in California, how can they become our leaders running our country America-the world’s biggest economy on the planet with even more complicated issues? How? After all, Democrats like Nancy Pelosi and Adam Schiff are a bunch of crooked, incompetent and useless politicians who have done nothing but stopping our country from moving forward.

  29. Wow, it’s amazing how far Fox News is willing to help Trump divide the country . Where do they continue to find these people. OMG 😱

  30. you need evidence, like what Joe Biden said on video….
and whenever the billionaires start to panic…the billions will be gone with a click on… enter

  31. Suppose, for a moment, there WAS a quid-pro-quo (something in exchange for something). FIRST, that occurs in the "horse-trading" between/among nations ALL the TIME. SECOND, please CITE THE LAWS that FORBID such exchanges of "favors" between Chief Executives of nations. THOSE PERSONS are usually IN CHARGE of their nations' international relations and THEY are empowered to ACT in their nations' interests AS THEY SEE THEM. Does this leave room for personal advantage, too? Yes it does. Life is messy.

  32. It's all bs. There is no offense, just Democrats using what they've heard from other democrats. Waste of time. Americans dont care if Trump asked about the Bidens either, we are GLAD

  33. If military attempts COUP and they get caught its a treason when Congressman do it its DEMOCRACY, AG BARR and President Trump are gutless to take action against COUP participants, this situation with whistleblower is intellectually condescending for people in general not to mention legal community at large. If US can not protect the office of the PRESIDENT what gives you the right to police the world and impose your democracy on the rest of the world.

  34. Nadler, Schiff, Biden and Pelosi are corrupt lying motherfuckers, they need to leave our country and go to China, its only proper since China owns them.

  35. Even when the Democrats vote for President Trump no one can see them and they will vote for President Trump they don’t want a socialist country

  36. Republicans don’t see the big deal with the phone call because it wasn’t an attack on Republicans, it was only against Democrats. If a democrat did this it would be the start of world war 3…

  37. Per Microsoft news agency, that Kent describes Giuliani’s active involvement in Ukraine relations, noting that Giuliani was "unmissable" starting in March of 2019.

He laid out that Giuliani was extensively involved in pushing a narrative surrounding Ukraine and Burisma, the Ukrainian energy company where former vice president Joe Biden's son sat on the board, as well as the recalling of Yovanovitch from her position. She testified in October to lawmakers that she felt threatened by Trump.

Yovanovitch was damaged by a narrative pushed by former Ukrainian general prosecutor Yuriy Lutsenko, who Kent testified wanted “revenge” for Yovanovitch's anti-corruption efforts in Ukraine. That narrative was buoyed by Giuliani's media presence.

“Mr. Giuliani, at that point, had been carrying on a campaign for several months full of lies and incorrect information about Ambassador Yovanovitch, so this was a continuation of his campaign of lies,” Kent testified.
"Wake up Americans", Fox news is ether a corrupt news agency or paid off by the Russians for giving these mad men air time.

  38. wealth tax is smoke n mirrors – the windfall profit tax should be reinstated – if you make a fortune by price gouging , and milking vital goods or services – you should be taxed in kind – making a fortune fairly , and ethically should have it's rewards , without excess taxation.

  39. No individual should accept being accused of doing something wrong while the individual being accused is denied the identity of their accuser. Only dishonest fools would attempt to refuse American citizens their Constitutional 6th ammendment right to defend themselves.

  40. Trump and his supporters are screwed. Trying to use all defenses possible at once😂😂
    1. No there was no quid pro quo,
    2. Yes there was Quid pro quo, but not an illegal one,
    3. President and their team is too incohorent (stupid) to do a quid pro quo – Lindsey Graham
4 we want to know what's going on and what witnesses are saying
    5. (Now transcripts of testimonies are being published) I'm not going to read it. Process is tainted
    6. Whistleblower has secondhand info. Not reliable.
    7. We want whistleblower to testify
    8. But, but, but…. Hillary, Obama, Hillary, Obama, Hillary, Obama……😂😅
    9. And many more to fit in 1 comment
    😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
    Time to impeach Trump.
    Impeach! Remove!! Indict!!!

  41. When will the coup-makers be investigated and impeached? Demand a transcript from all of their phone-calls, text-messages and -e-mails. This is a VERY serious crime, worst in american history!

  42. Assimilated America is the people at is under attack and always has been , we just need to make up our minds < are we going to live on our knees for the Globalist to live off us ?? Or are we going to fight on our feet and stop the enslavement of the American people , Europe is lost

  43. some brave GOP deplorable sycophant needs to persuade him to resign before he drags down the entire republican party with him.

  44. ADRENOCHROME DROOLING PEDOVORES MUST GO. Get to the root of the problem: The compromised ones who give these sicko's a wink and a nod. …
    LOVE NOT … "LOOSH".

  45. 😂😂😂 I’m no Democrat or Republican but you Foxians are funny. Just let the public heart take place and make your judgements

  46. Remember when this impeachment was supposed to be over by the end of October? Now they are saying it might be over by Christmas? It will likely get pushed through in a semi-secret last minute end of year push.

And then they are going to submit it to the Senate. The Senate will have a choice to either drop the whole thing before the New Year or hold it until the session starts after. If they table it until after the New Year, and call for a full hearing, what happens to every Democrat Senator running for President in the DNC? They have to stop campaigning to sit in an impeachment hearing!

Republicans TABLE this until after the New Year. Call for a FULL investigation, including everything revealed by John Solomon and Glenn Beck. Let's get everything out into the open. If President Trump did something illegal, he should be held accountable. As should everyone that had to do with the 3 years of crap the DNC has put this President and the American People through since before the 2016 election.

Who would the DNC put up to run if their candidates aren't able to hit the campaign trail? MAYBE Tulsi Gabbard?

  47. Journalist you talk like the American people are stupid. Of course, we understand the impeachment and it's all BS. I want to know where the 7 billion US tax dollar money went that was given to Ukraine?

  48. Liberals must be some of the stupidest people on earth. They're accusing Trump of what Biden is guilty of..LOL.LOL.Typical Marxist tactics..

  49. 3;20 Anybody with half a Brain, which would Eliminate democrat leaders and their voters, knows that President Trump does not want Biden to drop out of the race because normal people know that Biden will Lose. If Biden goes, then the Lying Scamming democrats may get someone in there that could challenge President Trump.

  50. Why is she conflating witnesses with legal representatives.
FFS Rudy Giuliani is the president’s personal lawyer, he’s doesn’t have political opinions, right? 🙄
Snap out of your alternate realities.. it’s important. This “revelation” totally irrelevant

  51. A lot of people at the top of the pyramid don’t want Bernie or Liz calling the shots. They want big change.. and this upsets those milking the system.

  52. Alexander Hamilton, Federalist, no. 65, 439–45

    7 March 1788
A well constituted court for the trial of impeachments, is an object not more to be desired than difficult to be obtained in a government wholly elective. The subjects of its jurisdiction are those offenses which proceed from the misconduct of public men, or in other words from the abuse or violation of some public trust. They are of a nature which may with peculiar propriety be denominated POLITICAL, as they relate chiefly to injuries done immediately to the society itself. The prosecution of them, for this reason, will seldom fail to agitate the passions of the whole community, and to divide it into parties, more or less friendly or inimical, to the accused. In many cases, it will connect itself with the pre-existing factions, and will inlist all their animosities, partialities, influence and interest on one side, or on the other; and in such cases there will always be the greatest danger, that the decision will be regulated more by the comparitive strength of parties than by the real demonstrations of innocence or guilt.

  53. Trump & Republicans have been demanding for everything to become public, now they get their wish.
On October 28 or 29, Trump admitted the quid pro quo in a chopper presser.
Sondlond, Hill, Taylor, Vindlan all the witnesses, plus Giuliani and Mulvaney are accepting the quid pro quo – aka bribe – sought by Trump.
Republicans questioning the witnesses aren't even trying to defend Trump in their questioning.
    Republicans are going from,
"NO QUID PRO QUO BECAUSE THAT WOULD BE A CRIME!"
    to,
"YES, QUID PRO QUO, BUT IT'S OK, THE BRIBE WASN'T PAID."
(Plus they like the precedent because they have their eyes on other foreign countries who might bribe them, if they can get it made legit by Trump)

  54. The Dems have been concocting their own "truth", so they aren't interested in a fair and transparent inquiry, where both sides are heard. The President also has his constitutional right to face his accusers, including the fake whistleblower. If the actual Ukraine transcript, proving the POTUS' innocence, can't shut up the Dems, then nothing will.

  55. Why is EVERYONE SKATING OVER THE FACT THAT Joe Biden was caught on VIDEO BRAGGING about a quid pro quo when he told Ukraine official that he was withholding millions of dollars unless they FIRED this investigator on Hunter and then used fowl language in front of everyone watching this video that the investigator WAS FIRED????
